What to expect

84-0 Hockey Draft asks you to fill a starting six — centre, both wings, two defence slots and a goaltender — then pick the coach who brings it together. Ratings are only part of the job: the game rewards balance between scoring and defence, and punishes a roster with thin spots.

When the last pick is in, the draft simulator projects a complete 84-game regular-season record. Most rosters land somewhere short of perfect, which is rather the point — you adjust the approach, draft again and try to beat your best result. Unlimited Draft lets you keep searching for the right combination, while Limited Draft gives you a single pass with zero refreshes.

Franchise GM Mode turns one draft into a longer project. Organise forwards, defenders and goaltending, weigh strengths against weak positions, and guide the club through season after season. Quizzes, timed challenges, roster-building tasks, achievements and player comparisons fill in around the management.
