Basketball League Sandbox

Basketball League Sandbox is a basketball simulator for people who want to shape a whole league. Commissioner Mode puts you in charge of the rules, team finances, schedule fairness and the league’s future; Sandbox Mode is for asking “what if?” with scenario presets, a trigger builder and experiments; and Unlimited Draft is a separate way to build a team.

Seasons move forward through simulation, with a calendar of upcoming games, standings, power rankings and player and team stats. Game replays come with shot maps, momentum charts and adjustable playback speeds, and you can jump to the fourth quarter or the final two minutes. Between seasons, an 18-step offseason handles roster changes and player development, and players have contracts, health and relationships while teams have chemistry, coaching, rivalries and finances.

The world can extend past one competition, with connected leagues, transfers, loans, promotion and relegation, national teams and a tournament creator. History is preserved — championship runs, upsets, draft classes and franchise achievements — and a timeline and newsroom track the stories. According to the listing, leagues start with real-player rosters, and fictional players fill spots once expansion exhausts the available pool.
